Who we are

Little Ledger (“the app”) is operated by [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] (“we”). Questions? Email [[SUPPORT EMAIL]].

The app is a bookkeeping and billing tool for family child care providers. It is used by the provider (and anyone they authorize, such as a spouse or accountant). It is not directed to children and is not intended for children's use.

Information the app handles

The provider enters and stores the following in their own account:

  • Provider / account information (name, daycare name, contact details, optional license or tax ID)
  • Family and child information the provider enters (names, schedule notes, optional child photo)
  • Parent/guardian contact details the provider enters
  • Attendance records, including check-in/out times, signatures, and signer names
  • Billing agreements and overtime rules
  • Payment records and daycare expense records
  • Receipt and document images the provider uploads
  • Authentication information (email, and identifiers from Google or Apple if you sign in with them)
  • Subscription/billing information (only if and when paid subscriptions are enabled)
  • Basic technical logs needed to operate and secure the service

How the information is used

Information is used to provide the app's features to the provider: recording attendance, generating reviewable invoices and reports, and keeping records available across the provider's devices. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

The app relies on infrastructure providers to function, including [[HOSTING PROVIDER]] for hosting and [[DATABASE PROVIDER]] for its database and file storage, and — where you choose it — Google and Apple for sign-in. [[PAYMENT PROCESSOR]] is used only if paid subscriptions are enabled.

Data retention and deletion

Records remain in the provider's account until the provider deletes them or deletes their account. Providers can delete their account at any time from Settings → Delete account; this permanently removes their records and login. See the in-app deletion screen for exactly what is removed.

Children's data

The app stores limited child information entered by the provider (such as a name and schedule) for bookkeeping. It does not store medical details, and photos/videos are minimized. Treat all family and child data as sensitive.
